After 2 decades of musical inactivity, David felt God drawing him back into music again. In Oct.2006, inspired by a new found interest in songwriting, David recorded a CD of songs that he had recently written. This project was done with longtime friend and Branson Music Hall of Fame guitarist Mike McAdoo.

A few months later, calling themselves RIVER JORDAN, the two recorded 2 more CD’s of old gospel favorites combined with more self penned songs. David has now generated 4 country gospel CD's, 1 Christmas CD, and 4 positive country CD's. Since Sep. 2006 he has now written over 50 songs and recorded over 100.

Through radio releases by Glory Train Records, Hope Street Music, David’s popularity has soared in a very short time causing him to earn remarkable success. Beginning in August 2007, he has now released 20 original singles to radio. All have fared well in the music charts both nationally and internationally with 6 songs now reaching No. 1 status and others landing in top 20 and top 40 status.

Mike McAdoo returned to Branson in Sep. 2007 as a full time lead guitarist and studio musician there and has played with many of Country Music's greatest artists. David is continuing music as a solo artist, but the two continue their success of recording together. As before, Mike does all of David's guitar, bass, and banjo work as well as all of the background vocal harmonies.

Hilltopper Music Group released David’s first positive country single “She’s A Real Go Get Her” in August 2008 – it reached No. 39  in the Dec. 2008 Top 100 Hot Country Singles and remained on the chart for 12 weeks. David's 2nd clean country release "There's Something 'Bout Texas " peaked recently at No. 23 on the Nashville New Music Weekly chart and remained on the chart for 18 weeks, as well as appearing in the top 40 on many others.

David’s current single “Oh Hallelujah” written by David was released to radio mid-January 2011.This is the first collaboration for David and Mike McAdoo. David wrote the lyrics and Mike the melody. His previous gospel radio single "Let Your Fire Fall" reached No. 1 status on the GTE Music Magazine International Country Gospel Chart January 2011 issue. “You Catch Me When I Fall”, David's single released Aug. 2010 had No. 1 status for 8 weeks in a row. On Dec. 6, it was named 2010 SONG OF THE YEAR by Country Gospel Connection music magazine. On Dec. 22, it was given the distinction of Christian Country Song of the year for 2010 by Christian Music Weekly music magazine. David was featured on Nashville Broadcasting Radio Network with a live on-site interview accompanied by an hour of David Nall songs on September 24, 2010.
